Effective Learning Methods

Training is intended for University students, regardless of their study programme or year of study. The aim of the training is to introduce students to effective learning approaches and to provide them with basic practical skills that would help them plan their learning process more efficiently, apply advanced learning methods, and strengthen their independent learning competencies. The training will be delivered in a seminar format and will consist of a presentation of theoretical material and practical activities. During the training, participants will be introduced to effective learning methods, strategies for information acquisition, ways of systematising information, as well as principles of time planning and organising the learning process. Following the theoretical part, students will work together in small groups. During the practical part, students will complete the assigned tasks, develop reflection skills, and test different learning methods that they will later be able to apply in their study process. The expected outcome is that, after completing the training, participants will know the main learning methods and their differences, be able to plan their learning more purposefully, and select the most appropriate learning methods according to their needs.
